Aha! I figured it out!

  Of course, I was right...

That Child birth class is cool. I am learning so much about what to expect. I did find out something my lovely wife hadn't told me, there's a darn good chance she will be yakking her brains out during the first stage of labor.

Great.

I don't want to sound like a callous jackass but that sucks. It will suck because I won't be able to do a thing but stand there. Well, the whole idea of being there while she's yakking is kind of gross but I'll deal with that but I'm not sure how cool it will be being there for hours while she is in pain and puking and all that.

I know we will make it and the reward will be worth it, but that's a lot for a guy to learn just under two months before the due date. I knew labor wasn't easy but in the class, learning about everything that can go wrong is a bit unsettling.

  T-Minus 1 Hour, 38 Mins

Yup, slightly over an hour and a half until our second child birth class. It is really informational, and I am actually looking forward to it. I wonder what new stuff I'll learn at the class that my lovely wife had sort of conveniently glossed over a bit. I guess she had a good reason for that, though. It is better to ease me into the whole thing so I don't faint in the delivery room, fall down, bust my head open and bleed all over the place, not to mention the concussion I'd get.

I'll do fine. I honestly can't wait for Ryan Jeffrey to be born. Ryan Jeffery. It's kind of weird now that baby Thigpen has a name (even if it isn't Pippen Marino...), it just seems so final. I mean, we have already molded him into a Ryan Jeffery. What if he's more of an Andrew or Ian?

I'm sure all of you parents have already dealt with these exact same sentiments but this is new to me! It's the most exciting thing that's ever happened and of course, the most terrifying, too.

Well, I know that I'll do fine. Do concussions hurt? T-Minus 1 Hr, 32 Minutes.
