So, I got that listing last Thursday...
And I wrote a contract on it for a buyer Monday. That means I'm the agent for both the Seller and the Buyer. Good for me, good for them. I also got another listing Monday. I wrote a contract on it today that I have a feeling will be accepted in about an hour when I deliver it to the Sellers.
So, two listings, two sells, one extremely happy Househunting Stepdad!
You don't usually get both sides of a real estate deal, it's nice when it happens, of course, but it isn't very common. Yet somehow, I have two in one week!
My wife is taking me out for dinner and to see Spiderman 2 to celebrate. And yet another sign I'm getting old, I'm more excited about double siding two deals in one week than a movie about Spiderman, one of the coolest superheroes ever.
Yeah, I'm still a little geeky. Thanks for noticing!
Waiting on my Seller to call me...
with the go ahead to fax him the contract I wrote for his home, I noticed I had misspelled a link. I fixed it, I am so productive.
Actually, I really am doing very well the last few weeks. In the last week alone, I have gotten two listings, one of which I also wrote the Buyer's contract on (Yay me!) and have an appointment set for Friday to get another listing.
It all started about a week and a half ago when my wife, B and I sat down and had a little meeting. We sat there and simply discussed where we wanted to be and when. Then we talked about what we had to do to get there in the time we want to be there by. I think we all have done a bit to make that happen and it's already showing results.
Anyway, relax, I'm not going to try to sell you a self help book or anything, I just think it's cool what a little family focus can accomplish.
Have a great day! I'm taking the afternoon off! (Of course, Baby T has a Doctor's appointment at 2, so I might as well take the rest of the day off.)
