B is cute...

The last couple of days, I have carried B from her room to the couch in the living room when we get up in the morning. She's gotten heavier in the two plus years since I was introduced into her life. The scales say she has gained only 10 to 15 pounds, but trust me, she is heavy. She's also grown about two feet. She is not the tiny little thing she used to be. This shouldn't be a suprise, but it is. Anyway, she loves being carried to the living room in the morning and we had a nice chat on the way this morning:

Me: Am I still going to be carrying you when you are 16?

B: No.

Me: What about 14?

B: No.

Me: 12?

B: (a little slower to answer) No.

Me: How about when you are ten?

B: (even slower to answer) No.

Me: Well, you are nine now, you know...

B: Yeah, so ten is still ok.

Me: Just not 12?

B: Right.

What a kid.
