Things my kids say:So, B and I were riding in the van on the way to her grandmothers house when we saw an El Camino parked near the edge of the road. I noted how I always thought those were ugly cars and said:
'What are they anyways? A car? A truck?'
A few minutes later, after our conversaton had died down a bit, from the back of the van I hear this:
'I think it's a c-ck.'
I didn't wreck the van, nor did I say anything. I was quickly trying to figure out exactly what my stepdaughter was talking about when she then said:
'You know, a car and a truck. A c-ck.'
I muttered something and let that one go.
A few days later, I picked up Ryan from his new daycare. He was in a great mood and on the way home he was singing a nonsense song that went something like this:
'Lalala la la la lala'
So, I asked, 'Ryan, what are you singing?'
I swear, the child sighed at me! Then he said:
'I'm singing lalala.'
I didn't say anything else on the way home. He's not quite 2 and 1/2 yet. Send help. Please.
