We are officially moved in to our new home now...
It still doesn't feel like we are in our new home. That we own. After we make the 360 payments. That is. Anyway, it is an awesome house, tons of room. B loves the home, her room is the nicest. The color of her room goes really well with her new bedroom suit and the beautiful hardwood floors. We have decided her room looks the best. Baby T doesn't seem to care one way or the other, as long as we let him walk anywhere he wants to go.
Yes, he is walking everywhere. For his safety and our sanity, we have sort of walled him into the living room (which is HUGE!!!) by making a wall of a couple of boxes. Of course, he takes it as a personal challenge to do his almost 11 month old best to break out. He is a sight to see; he will walk over to the boxes, squat down and push. Usually, he doesn't move them because we have wedged the boxes between the couch and loveseat. Sometimes, though, the furniture has moved a bit and he is able to break out.
The funny thing is, it isn't that he wants to break out of his 'prison' to see us or find out what we are doing. Half the time, he attempts to break out while both his parents and sister are sitting in the room!
B loves the home, she has already settled into doing her homework in the sunroom, only occasionaly throwing a glance to the pool outside or to the hot tub.
On a totally unrelated note, do you think it is too much that they stop calling 'Desperate Housewives' a soap opera? I love that show but I'm not sure if I can legally watch it if it is in fact a soap opera!
