Happy New Year!
I hope everyone is enjoying the New Year. We didn't go out, we stayed at home with B and Baby T and the Mominlaw and basically hung out. The women did their women thing and I sat in my office and played Diablo 2. So exciting, I know, but it was comfortable.
Around 11 or so, we all gathered in the living room and put on the 'stylish hats B had picked out and a few minutes later she and I went outside to light the two boxes of sparklers we had. It will be fun when she's a few years older and I can then introduce her to the world of fire crackers and Roman Candles and other such explosive stuff. (Note to any relative of B reading this: I'm just kidding. Really.)
Baby T was up and looking around and being his usual good, cute self (see post below). The ball dropped, we all cheered, we all made a toast and spoke our wishes for the New Year (mine was that my family's continues to love and prosper) and we drank some sparkling grape juice...from the $40 wine glasses we received for our wedding.
As soon as that was done, Baby T decided he had enough and zonked out in his chair. Being the party people we are, we quickly followed his lead.
I hope everyone else had as nice a New Year's Eve as I did.
