House hunting Stepdad

My stepdaughter rocks.


B started school Monday and everything went well. Yesterday, she was watching tv in our bedroom after doing her homework. I went in to check on her and poked her in the arm playfully.

She said 'Don't touch me!' So of course that means to mess with her some more, maybe even leading to a bodyslam, if she's lucky. So, I turn around to mess with her some more when she says quietly and spookily:

'I'm in my dark place.'

Uhhh, I didn't mess with her more. Of course, she was kidding and was actually looking forward to the body slam but...where does an eight year old get this stuff?!
